Cypress Lakes was designed and built by Jim Fazio, a prominent and leading golf course architect who, over the past several years, has designed some of the top golf courses all over the world. Mr. Fazio was hand-selected by George Middleton, the principal of Middleton Properties, Inc., owner of Cypress Lakes. Mr. Fazio was asked to create an upscale, first class golf course that would be both challenging and fair, and enhance the natural features of the land and surroundings.

Long know for superb year round green conditions, Cypress Lakes GC is being recognized again for maintaining it's reputation for the best greens in Houston.
